SOVEREIGN EU CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE

Sovereign cloud for critical infrastructure

Edora builds and operates European cloud infrastructure — 100% EU-owned, EU-operated and subject to EU jurisdiction at every level.

We protect your operational continuity and your control over your own data, even as the geopolitical and regulatory landscape shifts.

EDORA CLOUD

Infrastructure built for regulated sectors

Digital sovereignty

Your data stays on European soil, governed by European law. A clean EU ownership structure means you keep legal control and ownership of your own data.
About data sovereignty

Enterprise operations & SLA

Dedicated, redundant infrastructure monitored around the clock by a highly specialised European support team. You get a direct line to the people who are actually accountable.

Documented ESG strategy

Our datacentres sit inside Danish energy parks and run on up to 95% renewable energy. That gives you CO2 documentation that satisfies CSRD.

Closed national network

Traffic is carried on our own N×100G optical backbone. Your data moves across a closed, dedicated network — isolated from the public internet.
About Cloud Connect

Built for NIS2

Audited to ISAE 3402 Type 2 and ISAE 3000, with ISO 27001 due in Q4 2026. Compliance is designed in from the ground up, not bolted on afterwards.

Strategic freedom, no lock-in

Built on open source and open standards. You own your own setup and can migrate your workloads out without technical or financial penalties.

About data sovereignty
  • This is about Danish and European capability. There are already many alternatives to American products today, and more will be built, so that we can secure digital sovereignty in Denmark and in Europe.

It is easier to move data than power

The demand for cloud, AI and digital preparedness is growing. So is the power consumption of datacentres. That is why…

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What organisations ask us most often

Where is our data physically held, and who has access?

That's your choice. Either in our datacentres on European soil, or in your own datacentre via EU Cloud in a Box. Either way the platform is operated by a European team under EU jurisdiction, and the data leaves neither the EU nor your control.

How does Edora Cloud help us with NIS2?

Our infrastructure is audited to ISAE 3402 Type 2 and ISAE 3000, and ISO 27001 certification lands in Q4 2026. By placing your workloads with a European infrastructure partner, we lift a large part of the technical documentation burden, making NIS2 considerably easier to satisfy.

Are we locked in if we want to move later?

No. The platform is built on open source and open standards, so you can move your workloads again — including back in-house or to another provider. You own your data and your configurations.

Isn't a sovereign European cloud more expensive than the hyperscalers?

We don't compete on being cheapest per virtual machine. Once you count the total cost — egress fees, external compliance advice, and the risk of foreign jurisdiction — the picture looks rather different. And you have a European counterpart you can actually reach when it matters.

Let's go through your options

We'll look at your situation and identify the obvious first steps — whether you want to run your own systems or resell Edora Cloud to your customers. If you'd rather have the overview first, start with a Cloud Sovereignty Assessment to map your current cloud sovereignty.
